Southampton Airport launches Canine Crew for nervous passengers

Southampton Airport has introduced a Canine Crew. The therapy dogs, from the charity Therapy Dogs Nationwide, have been stationed in both arrivals and departures, along with their volunteer handlers. They will help soothe nervous fliers and passengers with hidden disabilities, are fully temperament tested and highly experienced in their trade.

Heathrow unveils Santa’s workshop underneath Terminals 2 and 5

Heathrow has unveiled a magical installation of periscopes at Terminals 2 and 5, with innovative 360-degree films giving passengers the chance to watch a range of elvish activity taking place right underneath them – with scenes from Santa’s Toy Factory, Department of Wrapping and Mail Room all acted out by Heathrow’s very own colleagues.

Travellers are invited to capture “Your Airport Moment” with Santa’s elves, who will be appearing at select Plaza Premium Lounge locations. The elves have planned a round-the-world trip to visit Plaza Premium Lounge in Brisbane, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, London, Rome and Toronto between 16 and 20 December 2019.

Munich Airport opens annual Christmas and Winter Market

Munich Airport has opened its traditional Christmas and Winter Market, with gingerbread, mulled wine, a disco on ice, St. Nick, and much more. There are over 40 stands for fun, games and treats for the whole family, and a 625sqm ice skating rink in the Munich Airport Center Forum.
