Moscow Domodedovo’s new T2 to double airport in size

A project to expand the terminal area of Russia’s largest air transport gateway is now underway, and will see it double in size to 500,000sqm when it is completed in December 2016. In the coming years an additional stage of construction will further extend the airport to 900,000sqm to satisfy the demand created by its continually escalating passenger numbers, which are expected to reach 60 million a year by 2023.

Oslo Airport is now just over halfway through the €1.7 billion airport expansion that will transform facilities for its rapidly growing number of passengers.
