About us
Airports Council International (ACI)
Is the only worldwide professional association of airport operators. ACI, with its global office based in Montreal, is a non profit-making organisation representing more than 1,861 airports in 177 countries and territories worldwide. ACI is organised into five geographical regions: Africa, Europe, Latin America/Caribbean, North America and Asia/Pacific, each with its own board of elected airport leaders.
ACI EUROPE
ACI EUROPE is the European region of Airports Council International, the only worldwide professional association of airport operators. ACI EUROPE represents over 450 airports in 44 European countries. In 2012, member airports handled 90% of commercial air traffic in Europe, welcoming over 1.6 billion passengers, 16.7 million tonnes of freight and more than 16 million aircraft movements. Based in Brussels, we lead and serve the European airport industry and maintain strong links with other ACI regions throughout the world.
Airport Business
ACI EUROPE Airport Business is widely renowned as the leading industry magazine for airports globally. We report on the latest strategic, operational and political viewpoints from all of the world’s Airports, Airlines and Governmental Authorities whose actions shape our industry.
We also produce a number of special reports on airport operators detailing how they have approached major expansion projects. All our quality content can be found online here at this site.
Our editorial coverage focuses on the issues that matter, as well as the airports with major expansion and improvement plans, ensuring that the companies who advertise with us have very targeted and timely exposure to the airport operators making buying decisions.
“Airport Business is a great source of information to see what is going on in the industry and is also a great forum for communication.”
Peter Mayerhofer, Head of Projectteam Skylink, Vienna International Airport
In addition, a substantial percentage of the revenues created from Airport Business are invested back into ACI EUROPE, to assist lobbying efforts and industry initiatives.
