Safe Bag, a leader in luggage protection and tracing services, has announced that its recently-acquired subsidiary PackandFly Group OU has signed a five-year contract for the supply of its own integrated offer of services for travellers at Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
Cebu is the second-largest airport in the Philippines with around 10 million passengers in 2017. It experienced growth of around 9% in the first half of 2018, with further growth expected in the second half of the year, thanks in part to the opening of the new terminal on 1 July.
Alessandro Notari, CEO Safe Bag, explains: “PackandFly represents for the group a bridge head to support a new expansion phase in Asia, where our services are highly appreciated. Therefore, we hope to be able to continue growing thanks also to the commercial relations of our new Russian partners.”
Rudolph Gentile, President, Safe Bag, adds: “The network and new commercial relations coming from PackandFly are fundamental for the development of SOS Travel.com in the continent of Asia, the geographical area with the highest number of airport passengers at world level and with the highest expected growth.”
