After an extremely active year as President of ACI EUROPE, Ad Rutten COO of Schiphol Group has been re-elected to lead the organisation for a second year.
At the 20th ACI EUROPE Annual Assembly, hosted by SEA Milan Airports, on June 17-19, after an extremely active year as President of ACI EUROPE, Ad Rutten COO of Schiphol Group has been re-elected to lead the organisation for a second year.
Rutten said “I am delighted to continue in this role for a second year. Between unexpected events such as the volcanic ash crisis, the business and economic priority of regaining traffic in the wake of recession and the ambitious agenda of the EU institutions, there is certainly no shortage of work to be done. In the year ahead the Board of ACI EUROPE together with the Brussels-based team, look forward to addressing the key challenges facing Europe’s airports: providing timely airport capacity, addressing the environment, improving connectivity and streamlining security.”
